Developer nutlope open-sourced Tev1 0.8B, a tiny Jev-style classifier whose weights are already downloadable on Hugging Face.
- Runs fully locally on a Mac via Ollama with 50ms end-to-end latency (video not sped up)
- The author admits it's not as good as Tev1 4B or Jev, but works decently for simple classification
- Weights and benchmarks coming soon, targeting free, local decision calls in agents
