Thieves steal Nvidia-branded trailers, find 20 tons of sand instead

Per WIRED, thieves in Newark, California hooked up and drove off with two trailers bearing PlusAI and Nvidia logos—apparently expecting silicon. They broke them open, found 20,000 pounds of sand, and abandoned the trailers.
PlusAI says the trailers carried simulated loads for R&D testing; the actual tech-enabled truck cabs were parked inside its warehouse. Both trailers were recovered with the sand intact, and no arrests have been made.
