The internet gave everyone a printing press; AI gives everyone the newsroom

The author argues that the internet turned scarcity of distribution into abundance (a printing press for everyone), and AI is now doing the same for production (a newsroom for everyone) — eventually extending to software companies, ad agencies, design studios and research departments. With distribution already near zero, production is next, which is why framing AI as just another software cycle misses the point.
