Dev Slams GitHub Contribution System After PRs Got Bundled and Merged by Others

Developer Jason Kneen calls the GitHub contribution system 'a joke': he submitted a PR, someone else bundled it with others, added changes, and got it merged — even crediting the originals in the PR text, yet ending up listed as the contributor.
He says the experience makes you want to stop contributing altogether, raising questions about attribution in open source.
