Microsoft Autopilot Preview Rolls Out, Built on the Open-Source OpenClaw Project

Microsoft announced the Autopilot preview rolling out to its first customers. Led by Omar Shahine's team, it's described as "a persistent, proactive and personal agent that keeps working even when you're not" — formerly known as Scout.
Key facts: Autopilot is built on the open-source OpenClaw project, with Microsoft working with steipete and the OpenClaw Foundation to make it an enterprise-grade runtime. Dave Morin noted bluntly that "Microsoft Autopilot is built on OpenClaw and is rolling out today."
