AI and quantum computing are building a mutual feedback loop across the stack

The author argues the real story of AI + quantum computing isn't sci-fi "quantum super-AI" but mutual reinforcement across the stack. Machine learning is already applied to quantum challenges: hardware design, circuit optimization, error correction, and quantum control. A 2025 Nature Communications review describes the AI–quantum relationship tightening across the entire hardware/software stack.
The result is a feedback loop: AI helps build better quantum computers → quantum machines crack problem classes relevant to AI → AI uses those results → AI further improves the quantum system. That accelerating flywheel is where the two fields genuinely strengthen each other.
