Claude Code Cloud Agent Criticized for Requiring a GitHub Repo Upfront

A user questions the design of Claude Code's Cloud agent: the feature is nice, but why must you connect a GitHub repo before starting work? A local Git repo could be used and linked to GitHub only when needed. And if GitHub is mandatory, the app should offer a way to auto-create the repo.
