A debate erupted over AI writing detector Pangram: one user argued that after iterating 40-50 times with AI plus manual edits, being flagged as AI-written doesn't matter — quality is the only standard.
Researcher Gautam Kamath pushed back: most people use AI for writing far less responsibly than that, and other factors matter — whether it's in your voice, expresses genuine feelings, and whether you spent time writing what you want others to read and act on.
