Microsoft launches Copilot 'super app' bundling chat, coding and agents, claims Office-level influence

Microsoft officially unveiled its redesigned Copilot "super app," which it believes could be as influential as Office. The app merges three AI capabilities — chat, coding, and agents — into one interface with Home, Code, and Autopilot tabs.
The Home tab combines Copilot Chat and Cowork as the default landing experience, with a personalized "Today" dashboard planned. Microsoft also rebranded Scout, the AI assistant introduced at Build earlier this year, as Autopilot.
