Microsoft's biggest Copilot update ever: Autopilot agents, Code, Home, and embedded Office

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella announced the biggest Copilot update to date, positioning it as "a new OS for work" spanning every model, form factor, and task. Four pillars:
- Autopilot: proactive, long-running enterprise agents (the rebranded Scout from Build)
- Code: build apps inside Copilot, hosted in your company tenant
- Home: Chat + Cowork merged as the default experience, plus a Today proactive dashboard surfacing key M365 info without asking
- Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint fully embedded in Copilot, with Copilot invocable in Teams
Nadella frames the update as bringing AI into the flow of work, from answering questions to building apps to getting work done on your behalf.
