Google tests 'Call for Me', letting Gemini phone businesses on your behalf

Google is testing "Call for Me," a new feature that lets Gemini call businesses on a user's behalf — handling things like inquiries, bookings, or price checks so users don't have to sit on hold themselves.
It marks another step in Gemini's expansion into everyday voice-assistant use cases; the feature is currently in testing.
