Arcaeon 0.9.0: MIT-licensed tamper-evident audit logs for AI agents, built by a 911 dispatcher

A 911 dispatch-floor operator released Arcaeon 0.9.0 (MIT, zero dependencies), an open-source tool addressing the fact that AI agents grade their own homework — the agent does the work, then writes its own story about it.
Core mechanics:
- arcaeon log records tool calls; arcaeon verify checks the chain — changing one word in the log instantly flags the exact broken line, verifiable by anyone without accounts or keys.
- Proxy recorder: captures your agent's tool calls without the agent's cooperation.
- Reconcile tool: compares the agent's record with the tool's record and pinpoints where they diverge.
- MCP source checker: scans MCP servers for dangerous patterns and leaked secrets; ships with its own MCP server.
Limits: Arcaeon proves the record wasn't altered after writing, not that it's true — an agent can faithfully record a lie. The only paid piece is an outside witness holding your log's latest state, closing the chop-off-the-end loophole.
