Musk details xAI's GPU empire: Colossus 2 hits 110k GB200s with 880k GB300s on the way

Elon Musk revealed xAI's cluster details on X: Colossus 1 has 150k H100s, 50k H200s and 30k GB200s; Colossus 2 currently runs 110k GB200s and 440k GB300s, with another 220k GB300s fully operational next week, plus 220k more in November and possibly late December. Sawyer Merritt notes this totals over $100 billion of GPUs and over 2 GW of compute, brought online at record pace.
