Testing offline video models for a short about "bored caterpillars," the author found LTX 2.5 nails the facial expression but falters on body movement and audio, while MiniMax H3 delivers clear audio and better anatomy/movement — but the caterpillar keeps smiling no matter how the prompt is phrased, ruining the bored/annoyed theme.
They suspect H3 is heavily overtrained on smiling faces in cartoonish styles and invite others to reproduce it with a line like "I'm so bored today... Does something ever happen here?! [sigh]". The Polish-language dialogue in the original prompt may also prevent the model from matching expression to meaning; an English retry is planned.
