AI Optimist Plinz Says Doomer Leaders Like Yudkowsky, Tegmark Treated Him With Kindness

Plinz, a longtime AI hope advocate, says that despite object-level disagreements, leading figures of the AI doomer camp — including Yudkowsky, Tallinn, Tegmark, Aguirre, Habryka and others — have treated him with nothing but kindness, integrity and patience. He believes they are motivated by love and genuine concern for humanity, and will support them where he can even though one side will likely turn out to be wrong in the near future.
