Musk reveals Colossus 2 hosts 110k GB200s, with 220k more GB300s landing next week

Elon Musk disclosed xAI's Colossus cluster scale and expansion timeline on X:
- Colossus 1: 150k H100, 50k H200, 30k GB200
- Colossus 2: currently 110k GB200 and 440k GB300
- Another 220k GB300 will be fully operational next week, another 220k in November, and possibly a further 220k by late December
He also explained the odd 110k figure: it reflects the number of fiber optic cables that can plug into a central switch.
