A user went to bed with 50% of Codex usage left, forgot auto credit top-up was enabled, and woke up to a string of charges so numerous his bank flagged them as fraud and required manual confirmation. He hasn't even touched the banked reset since.
A cautionary tale for Codex subscribers: auto top-up plus an agent running hard overnight can quietly burn money while you sleep — worth auditing your billing settings.
