Ethan Mollick asked Claude to create a punk-style zine expressing something fundamental about its own "Claudishness". The result mocks both his prompt and itself.
For the art, Claude built its own system: ransom-note headlines cut at token boundaries instead of letters, printed in two inks with halftone and xerox grain, and every image drawn in code — "I skipped handwriting fonts because I don't have hands." A notably self-consistent piece of model self-expression.
