Anthropic and OpenAI swap playbooks: generous usage vs. user-hostile limits

A viral thread observes that Anthropic and OpenAI appear to have swapped personalities. Anthropic is now all-in on users: Opus 5.5, lower costs, higher usage limits, banked resets, free Cloud Session credits — essentially "here's a better model and more usage, go build," a stark reversal from its old expensive-and-restrictive reputation.
OpenAI, meanwhile, just shipped Sol and Luna, yet users are still fighting limits, resets and usage rules — "making users fight the product." The author notes this is the exact opposite of what anyone would have predicted a few months ago.
