Agent side-loads custom app on DJI RC2, streams drone video to RF-DETR detections in real time

Roboflow showed a full demo where AI assistant Astra side-loaded a custom app onto a DJI RC2 controller, piping live video from a Mini 5 Pro drone into a Roboflow Workflow running RF-DETR via the Serverless Video API, with predictions overlaid back on the controller screen.
The pipeline — drone → sideloaded app → cloud inference → on-screen overlay — shows consumer drones plus off-the-shelf vision workflows can deliver real-time onboard perception without custom hardware.
