Google rolls out Gemini 3.8 Live with Live Avatar to everyone

Google released Gemini 3.8 Live and made its Live Avatar feature available to all. Project lead wronnyhuang says it started as a bottom-up research project on video agents with a small team in Gemini audio, backed by private Google Cloud customers, before this general release — his favorite project at Google so far.
