Jordan Rudess to perform live concerts with jam_bot, the MIT-built AI improvisation model

Dream Theater keyboardist Jordan Rudess announced that jambot, an AI music model he and his MIT team have been developing for three years, will perform live with human musicians and a choir at MIT's inaugural Future Fest on October 3, with two shows (5 PM and 8 PM) at Thomas Tull Concert Hall.
- jambot is trained on Rudess's own playing and focuses on improvisation and "musical conversation"
- The public can try jambot at the MIT Museum from October 2–10
