CrowdCut: an audience-directed live movie platform powered by agents and video models

Developer henloitsjoyce built CrowdCut, a live audience-directed choose-your-own-adventure movie platform: viewers comment the next scene they want, the jev agent classifies comments and picks the most relevant prompt, and video is generated on hedra using MiniMax H3 Max. The app was one-shotted with GPT-6 and Opus 5.5.
Key tradeoff: video models are nowhere near instantaneous and continuous yet — jev classifies comments fast, but sending the last frame of each 8s clip and generating the next scene remains the bottleneck.
