Docker launches Cloud Sandboxes: microVM isolation for always-on agents, $250 credit

Docker introduced Cloud Sandboxes—cloud-hosted microVMs with the same isolation and CLI as local Docker Sandboxes, letting coding agents keep running after you close your laptop. Billing is per-second (Medium: 4 vCPU/8GB at $0.28/hr). New Docker Agentic Platform signups between Sept 22–26, 2026 get a $250 compute credit, enough for four parallel agents running 7 hrs/day for 30 days, or 3,500 short 15-minute runs.
