Waymo released new safety data based on 270M+ rider-only miles across 5 territories: compared with human drivers, injury crashes dropped 82% and serious-injury crashes 95%, avoiding 841 injury-causing crashes in total. One of the largest real-world autonomous driving safety datasets to date.
