Opus 5.5 draws pixel-art galloping horse entirely in code, still loses to dedicated models
TheMoonMidas · x · 2026-09-25
victormustar showed a galloping pixel-art horse by Opus 5.5 drawn entirely procedurally: one self-contained HTML file, vanilla JS + Canvas 2D, 128×96 pixels, inverse-kinematics legs, a 12-pose gallop cycle — no images or libraries.
RealAstropulse counters, though: compared to a horse generated and animated in Retro Diffusion with image/video models, the LLM version — while impressive — lacks life and meaningful detail, and is far from real quality pixel animation.
