Opus 5.5 renders HTML motion graphics from one image, but 4 parallel variants take 5+ minutes
Ror_Fly · x · 2026-09-25
Developer RorFly tested Claude Opus 5.5 by giving it a single image and asking it to render an explainer-style HTML/JS animation of a cocktail recipe from empty glass to finished drink — the result impressed him ("Things are getting weird").
But speed is the pain point: rendering 4 variants via 4 subagents took over 5 minutes, which he called "just stupid" — a striking contrast between capability and latency.
