CLM-8B part of scaling-ladder effort; multimodal CLM-35B due next month
viksit · x · 2026-09-25
The team behind CLM-8B says it is part of a scaling ladder—training models at multiple sizes to establish scaling laws and predict performance at larger scales. A multimodal CLM-35B with more data, compute, and parameters is now training, with release slated for early next month.
