Developer tomjohndesign shared a tool he built to deal with local dev servers slowing down his laptop. It can:
- List running local servers, uptime and resource usage
- Notify when a server spikes
- Auto-kill old servers
- Provide quick launch shortcuts for local URLs
- Link to Vercel preview URLs and the Codex/Claude Code sessions that created them, with shortcuts to resume
The project came up during an exchange with Laurie Esc about dot-grid icons and loader integration.
