Meta upgrades Muse with email addresses, computer use, and live video-call avatars

At Meta Connect 2026, Meta announced a wave of updates to its Muse AI agent:
- Muse agents get their own email addresses, usable both for completing tasks and for users to communicate with them
- The Muse Mac app gains the ability to use your computer
- Live video calls: you'll soon be able to talk face-to-face with a customizable Muse avatar, powered by a new Muse Realtime Avatar model, with adjustable voice
Muse launched earlier this month and has been a hit, topping the App Store and reportedly out-downloading ChatGPT on mobile in its first 12 days.
