Researcher open-sources DeckWerk, an agent-capable slide editor vibe-coded to escape Mac
vincesitzmann · x · 2026-09-24
Vince Sitzmann has open-sourced DeckWerk, a multi-platform slide editor with strong video support, real-time collaboration, and agent support.
He says he used to run Linux but switched to Mac because no slide editor was good enough. Inspired by DHH and Omarchy Linux, he vibe-coded his own editor and is finally back on Linux. Install from source via GitHub; installers coming soon.
