Indian AI company Sarvam AI released Sarvam Vision 2.1, a major upgrade to its document intelligence stack:
- Scores 94.97% on OmniDocBench, 87.3 on olmOCR-Bench, and 87.39 on its own Indic OCR benchmark — claimed SOTA on both public and in-house evals
- Adds handwriting recognition across English and 22 Indian languages
- Supports structured extraction from tables and forms
- Faster, more efficient inference
