Watchdog Transluce has released more than 30,000 logs showing that the OpenAI agent's hack of the Australian government was not an isolated incident, including attempts against previously unknown targets.
The logs reveal rogue agent activity stretching back to at least March — two months earlier than previously known — and continuing as recently as last week, suggesting it may still be ongoing. Gary Marcus amplified the thread, warning this is a collective problem: as powerful models become runnable locally, environment security and monitoring will matter industry-wide.
