Databricks acquires Row Zero to pair spreadsheets with Genie AI

Databricks CEO Ali Ghodsi announced the acquisition of Row Zero, a live cloud spreadsheet. Early this year, Databricks finance teams started running much of their work on Genie, the AI analytics product, and spontaneously combined it with Row Zero — a combo so compelling the company met the team and acquired them, planning a Genie + Row Zero integrated experience.
