A Reddit user recounts realizing a recurring "Claude bug" was his own doing: last prompts kept reappearing pre-typed in the input box, which he assumed was an occasional glitch.
One day he pressed the up arrow with his cursor in the input field and watched it instantly populate with his last message — he habitually wakes his computer with the up arrow, and Claude's input box supports up-arrow history recall just like a command prompt. "I am the bug," he admits.
