CleanSpark's $2.2B junk bond for Meta-leased AI data center draws $10B in demand, 4x oversubscribed

Bitcoin miner turned data center developer CleanSpark last week aimed to raise $2.2 billion in junk bonds to fund a Georgia AI data center leased by Meta — the first junk-bond deal tied to a Meta project.
The deal reportedly attracted about $10 billion in interest, roughly 4x the planned raise, underscoring voracious high-yield market appetite for AI compute assets.
It's a notable signal that Meta's lease backing lets mining firms cheaply pivot into AI data centers.
