WorkSwarm / JiuwenSwarm is an Apache-2.0 open-source multi-agent collaboration system that has drawn 6.5k stars and 1.1k forks on GitHub.
Its pitch: most agent frameworks can finish a task, but few keep a team aligned across 100 turns. The project focuses on:
- Persistent sessions so agent state survives long-running tasks;
- Swarm-style coordination for splitting complex work across agents;
- Verified self-improvement.
It integrates Playwright MCP, ships a TUI, Docker deployment, SDKs and docs, and exposes agents through everyday messaging apps. Worth a look for anyone building agent systems.
