Agents Should Charge Commission Over Ads: Automating 20 Payment Flows Has Value

A discussion of AI agent business models: the author argues agents are better suited to taking a percentage commission on transactions than running ads. If people pay for food delivery, they'd pay cents to skip 20 different payment and verification flows. Ads fit pure search/distribution problems, but agents add value by automating the payment flow itself, and commissions scale with price. Meta may well do both.
