Quadruped robot built to run a marathon on a single battery charge published in Nature

A KAIST team led by Jemin Hwangbo published a Nature paper on a quadruped robot designed to complete a full marathon on a single battery charge. The work targets the endurance bottleneck limiting real-world legged robot deployment in disaster rescue and mountainous operations, and is being hailed as a serious legged-robotics milestone in a top journal.
