It's not about models anymore: skills and plugins are the real agent lever

Developer PtrPomorski argues that agent quality is no longer about which model you pick — newer model releases aren't getting meaningfully smarter. The real lever is skills and how you use them: he points to Claude plugins and open-source skills collections on GitHub, claiming that with good skills even a cheap small model like Haiku 4.5 can become very capable.
