Developer 0xSero shared a hands-on comparison of Opus-5.5 vs Astra, claiming Opus-5.5 is 2-3x faster, 60% cheaper, and better in almost every way.
His main gripe with Astra is that it seems to keep itself busy doing nothing — his usage limits hit before any real work gets done. The only current edge for Astra, he notes, is slightly better performance on Swift and Rust coding.
