Duke launches $65K postdoc studying AI's social impact on students

Duke University's Society-Centered AI Initiative is hiring a postdoctoral associate for its HARP program, an interdisciplinary effort studying how AI affects students' cognition, learning, well-being, and decision-making. The role starts November 2026, pays $65,000, is on-site in Durham, and will build a longitudinal multimodal research resource on human-AI interaction, led by Dr. Jana Schaich Borg with Christopher Bail among the PIs.
