An Offline AI Box That Remembers Every Error a Factory Machine Ever Threw

The author built a small offline box that sits next to a hydraulic press and holds the machine's full fault history: type or say an error code and it shows every past occurrence on that machine — the cause, the fix, and who fixed it — then a small local model reads the history and suggests what to check first. Model, speech-to-text and everything else runs entirely on the box, solving the problem that tribal repair knowledge lives in one technician's head or an unread logbook, often on a different shift.
