Part 1 of an indie hacker thread: don't ask AI to "build the next big startup" — find a task someone does every Friday in a spreadsheet and build a tiny app for it.
- Example: an app turning a property manager's maintenance emails into a contractor job list.
- Prompt template for AI app builders: "Build a simple app for [specific user]. They upload [input]. The app produces [output]. Include a way to correct mistakes. Start with one working workflow."
- Validate first: get three people using it before building feature two.
