A developer replicated the viral "Made entirely with Opus 5.5" prompt in Claude Code, gave it an OpenRouter key with a $10 cap, and walked away. In 1.5–2 hours unattended it wrote the script, generated collage art, voice-over, music and SFX, built a pure JavaScript canvas animation, rendered it to MP4, synced every beat to narration, and used another model to review its own drafts — for about $4, plus half an hour for an English version. Verdict: "not Pixar, but 100% usable as a real explainer."
