French AI expert denies a book excerpt is LLM-written — critics say he's never even used Claude

On a Franceinfo TV segment, French AI researcher Jean-Gabriel Ganascia read an excerpt from Thélyson Orélien's book C'était ça ou mourir and declared he "couldn't imagine for a second" an AI could have written it, citing telltale signs like short contrastive sentences ("he didn't do X, but Y").
Commenters pointed out the irony: the researcher apparently judging AI prose by stylistic stereotypes has reportedly never actually used Claude — a viral example of AI experts misjudging text without hands-on experience.
