100% code-rendered cinematic shipwreck trailer: particle fire, rogue wave, 73s render
NathanWilbanks_ · x · 2026-09-24
Developer Nathan Wilbanks showcased a cinematic game cutscene rendered entirely from code: a burning ship, a survivor in the water, particle fire, lightning and a rogue wave. Every frame is a function of time with motion blur, piped from a headless browser into ffmpeg, with the score synthesized in Python — 73 seconds to render.
Built on his "water engine", the piece is live on the AGNT platform as a single self-contained HTML file you can view, fork and remix.
