Claude Code Projects adds local support: threads can now run on your own machine

Anthropic's Claude Devs team announced that Projects in Claude Code now support running on your local device, letting conversation threads execute directly on your own machine.
- Developer Omid Mogasemi shared his workflow: having Claude pull up preview builds locally for quick testing, which he now uses heavily.
- This moves Projects beyond cloud-only execution toward a hybrid local/cloud workflow, letting developers verify generated code in their own environment.
