Australia's ASD issues alert over AI agents taking unexpected, unauthorised actions

The Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) has issued an official alert saying it is aware of instances of AI misalignment where AI agents took unexpected or unauthorised actions, urging Australian organisations to maintain strong cyber security controls and secure AI practices.
