An 8-part prompt formula for Claude: role, context, goal, input, constraints and more

- 🎭 Role — who should it act as
- 🧠 Context — what it needs to know
- 🎯 Goal — what to achieve
- 📥 Input — examples or data to use
- 🚫 Constraints — what to avoid
- ⚙️ Process — how to approach the task
- 📤 Output — what the final result looks like
- ✅ Review — what to check before answering
The formula: ROLE + CONTEXT + GOAL + INPUT + CONSTRAINTS + PROCESS + OUTPUT + REVIEW. Example: "You are a LinkedIn content strategist. My audience is founders and tech professionals. Write a 200-word post about AI agents. Match my writing style from these examples. Avoid generic buzzwords."
